A TINY village in Powys is perhaps the last place you’d expect to find a gourmet British restaurant offering their prime products. But that’s exactly where the Beefy Boys could be found earlier this month, when they pulled up in Dolau, near Llandrindod Wells. And the Hereford-based burger restaurant sold enough burgers to feed each person in the village’s reported population of 228 (according to the 2011 census) three times when they popped up with their pop-up takeaway van on Sunday, April 18. The takeaway treat was organised by Dolau Community Hall with residents queuing up to get their hands on the Beefy Boys’ coveted burgers.
