As the story goes, Adam Milne had his ninth birthday party at downtown Portland’s historic Old Town Pizza, and liked the place so much he ended up buying it.
That was in 2003, and Milne has kept busy, keeping the lights on until the pandemic at the 47-year-old Old Town/Chinatown pizzeria, then expanding with an award-winning sister brewery in Northeast Portland in 2011.
Well, it’s happened again. And this time, Milne has purchased one of Portland’s best New York-style pizzerias, Southeast Portland slice king Baby Doll Pizza.
