Mahesh Babu saves kid with heart disorder at Andhra Hospitals
The Andhra Pradesh port city s iconic King George Hospital (KGH) saw heart-rending scenes on Tuesday as a one and half-year-old baby girl lost her life to Covid, in front of her wailing parents who were beseeching doctors to save her.
According to relatives of the family which belongs to Atchutapuram mandal in the district, Veerababu took his child Jahnvika to a private hospital after she developed a cold. On treating her for three days, the doctors there suspected Covid and advised the parents to get their child undergo an RT-PCR test. When the child tested positive, the parents were told to take her to the government-run KGH.

A 17-month-old baby girl in Malaysia died a day after her head was accidentally submerged in a bathroom sink during her bath.
The incident took place Tuesday in the town of Penang. According to preliminary investigation, the child was with her babysitter on the day of the incident, media outlet The Star reported.
The 43-year-old babysitter had filled the sink almost to the brim to give the baby a bath. After placing the baby in the sink, the woman realized she had forgotten the towel, and went out of the bathroom to fetch it.

A 1-year-old baby died by drowning in a bucket of water while playing with other children at her home.
The tragic incident took place Friday in Omaambo village in Omusati, Namibia. Authorities told local media the child s mother was taking a bath, and when she came out, she found the child had drowned. Her body was found in the bucket in which the family washed dishes.
“Exact circumstances leading to the drowning are not clear, as the incident was only discovered by the mother after bathing when she was told by the other kids that they don’t know where the deceased was, prompting her to start searching for her,” senior police officer Titus Shikongo told the New Era Live.
