Woodbine Mohawk Park hosted two divisions of the $15,000 Pop Up Claiming Series on Thursday (June 15) evening and The Ideal Huntress posted the faster time of the two races.
The Thursday evening (June 1) card at Woodbine Mohawk Park featured three $21,800 divisions of the first leg of the Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Grassroots for three-year-old trotting fillies as well as an undercard highlighted by a Pop Up Series for fillies and mares.
Woodbine Mohawk Park featured 12 races, including the finales to the Valedictory Pacing Series and Niagara Pacing Series, for their Boxing Day card on Monday (Dec. 26).
J One Twenty dominated the second leg of the Niagara Pacing Series, drawing away from the field of three-year-old fillies to win by nearly six lengths on Friday night (Dec. 16) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Dabarndawgswatchin ($3.20) held off rivals on both sides in deep stretch during an eventful Friday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park to score the December double in the $30,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 2 Pace.
