Goa Minister Vishwajit Rane today brushed off exit poll predictions of a cliffhanger in the coastal state and said it will be the Congress which will lack numbers.
Claiming that the candidates fielded this time have a strong relationship with party workers of their blocks who have tirelessly campaigned for them, he suggested that the bond between them will ensure loyalty to the party.
As voting ends in five states, and ahead of the election results later this week, the Congress has launched unprecedented moves to prevent defections that have hurt the party in the past.
