Srinagar: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Babol Noshirvani University of Technology (BNUT), Iran to explore collaborative, academic, research activities and understandings.
According to a statement issued to the news agencyâKashmir News Observer (KNO), the MoU was signed by Director, NIT Srinagar Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Sehgal and Chancellor, BNUT, Iran Prof. (Dr.) Javad Vaseghi Amiri to collaborate on different academic activities.
BNUT was founded in 1973 by one of the greatest philanthropists of Iran, Late Seyed Hossein Fallah Noshirvani in Babol, a city of Iran. Since the year 2008, it is known as Babol Noshirvani University of Technology.
