Babil Khan shares throwback photos clicked by Irrfan Khan days before his death, pens emotional note

Late actor Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan on Tuesday (June 1) yet again shared throwbacks photos remembering his father. In the new pictures, Babil can be seen getting a haircut from his brother Ayaan Khan and mother, Sutapa Sikdar.
In the post, Babil talks about how he wished he would have let his father cut his hair when Irrfan wanted to do so. As per Babil’s post, the photos were clicked by Irrfan Khan just a few days before his death. The actor passed away on April 29 last year after battling cancer for two years.

Late actor Irrfan Khan s wife Sutapa Sikdar took to her Instagram to shower praises for son Babil after he collected an award on behalf of his father. Recently, Irrfan Khan was posthumously honoured with the Best Actor in a Leading Role and Lifetime Achievement Award for his last release Angrezi Medium . Son Babil received the award and had broken down at the event remembering his father. Sharing a picture of the same, Sutapa said that her son is a strong man who doesn t shy away from showing his emotions. She also called him a kadak launda.

Maqbool featuring his father and Tabu. While sharing the picture he hinted at plans of joining the industry and working on some stuff .
“I know it’s been a minute. When my superstitions allow me to, I will reveal what I’ve been busy with, but there’s some stuff cookin’,”Babil wrote without disclosing what he is really working on.
“Anyway, since I’m obviously extremely frightened on having started my journey in Indian cinema without any formal training on acting and 8 years too early, I often calm my anxieties by looking at baba’s pictures from NSD and earlier films. Here’s something for his fans, he further wrote.
