4:00 and i m like i m done, i didn t get a darn thing done today. if that happened one day, you were lucky. everybody knows with newborns that happens frequently. let me ask you about this as a working mom myself with two small children, i m not sure where i fall on this because yeah, as a mom, it s so painful to leave the home and come back to work. but when you make that decision, you really, i think, need to focus on being at work. so where do you fall on that? well, i think for the first of all, it s important to note that we re not talking about bringing your kid in for a visit and staying in the loop while you re on maternity leave, i think that it s really tough to work in the office with your baby with you. i mean, all babies cry. even the sweet and content ones. and a crying baby is disruptive and even a sweet, sleeping little content baby can be a distraction. but every workplace environment is different and some that are very child focused, i have a friend who works in
