Five killed in landmine blast in Pakistan
Islamabad, Mar 6 (UNI) A landmine blast in Sibi district of Pakistan s southwest Balochistan province killed five people and left five others injured, local media reported.
Deputy Commissioner of the district Yasir Khan Bazai told local media that a vehicle carrying laborers hit a landmine in the Babar Kach area of the district.
Rescue teams and security forces rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital. Four laborers lost their lives on the spot while another succumbed to his injuries in a hospital, said the official, adding that other wounded persons were in stable condition.
