Leading aspirant for forthcoming Anambra State Governorship election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Paul Orajiaka has said that the party stands a better chance of winning the November 6 election with a youthful, vibrant and resourceful candidate who has proven capacity matched with competence to deliver quality value based leadership for Anambra State.
Orajiaka stated this at a forum in Abuja organized by Anambra APC Patriots for the State Governorship aspirants. The forum was attended by Vice-President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and many top chieftains of the party.
From all indications, the failure of state provides the platform for the likes of Sunday Igboho, writes Shola Oyeyipo
If not until recently, Chief Adeniyi Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho was little known in the South-west, but after he lent himself to protecting the Yoruba nation from the untamed invading killer herders terrorizing parts of Nigeria, he has become a household name.
The people of the West are elated that in the absence of adequate protection by security agencies, one of their own is taking up the challenge of telling the killers “enough is enough.” He gave the Fulani killer herdsmen a quit notice in Yorubaland.
After yet-to-be-identified hoodlums set ablaze his house in Ibadan, Sunday Adeyemi ‘Igboho, has said over N50 million worth of property was lost to the inferno.
Igboho, the man at the centre of the recent eviction controversy in Oyo State, made the comments in Ibadan on Tuesday.
He said the arsonists broke the gate to the building to gain entrance before setting the house on fire and added that the two people living in the house fled for their lives in the chaos.
Igboho also stressed that he was not a political thug available for hire.
“Around 03:30 am this morning, my siblings living in my old house came to alert me that some hoodlums were at the house, shooting sporadically, and that they had forced the gate open and set the house ablaze,” he said.
