At least 64 people on Sunday were injured after Israeli police intervention with plastic bullets and sound bombs after dawn prayer time,
Anadolu Agency reports.
After performing the dawn prayer, hundreds of people gathered between Masjid Al-Qiblatain and the Dome of the Rock Mosque inside the flashpoint compound and unfurled Palestine and Hamas flags.
They chanted slogans including We are all Sheikh Jarrah before marching towards Al-Aqsa s Lion Gate and Bab Hutta Gate.

Qalqilya: One Palestinian injured by a rubber-coated metal bullet while dozens other suffered suffocation during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in Qalqilya.
The clashes erupted after the occupation forces suppressed a demonstration condemning the brutal attacks against worshipers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces attacked the Palestinians during the demonstration in the streets of Qalqilya, wounding one young man by a rubber-coated metal bullet and causing suffocation for scores others.

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday evening through Tuesday overnight detained at least 11 Palestinians, mostly from the occupied city of East Jerusalem, according to security sources and witnesses.
They confirmed that Israeli police rounded up three Palestinians after assaulting them shortly before the Iftar time close to Bab Hutta, one of the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Police also rounded up another after stopping his vehicle while on his way for prayer at the mosque compound. The detainee was identified as a resident of Beit Hanina neighborhood.
More than 100 Palestinians and 20 Israeli police have been wounded in overnight violent clashes that ensued after far-right Israelis marched in the occupied East Jerusalem chanting “death to Arabs”.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said it had treated at least 105 people, with some 20 of them hospitalised. Israeli police said 20 officers were wounded, three of whom were taken to hospital.
The violence broke out outside one of the entrances to the walled Old City where far-right Israelis had completed a march, during which participants harassed Palestinians and chanted “death to Arabs” and waved banners reading: “Death to terrorists”.
As Palestinians heard reports of the Israeli march organised by a far-right group, Lehava, they gathered in thousands near the Damascus Gate with ambulances racing up and down the crowded backstreets with their sirens blaring.
