AA Shortstop Nick Allen could arguably benefit from skipping the AAA LV Launching pad simply because he is not destined to be a HR slugger. AA Midland caters to his style of offense better so why send him to Las Vegas? He is possibly the best middle infielder in baseball already. Allen does not need a launch pad to hone those already polished skills. A brief stay vs AAA pitching may be of indoctrination steps value but don t fix what isn t broken.
