Baseball is a sacred game, one that has resisted change and embraced the conventional approach for its almost two centuries of play. Good baseball teams know how to play well in their home ballpark. Great baseball teams know how to carry that success on the road. No. 3 Texas A&M put itself in the latter category with a 9-2 win over No. 22 South Carolina on Friday, April 5 in Columbia, South Carolina. The Aggies banged out.
Coming off of a 2-1 series win against No. 21 Mississippi State, No. 4 Texas A&M baseball continues its homestand with a weekend series against Auburn, March 28-30. Second in the country with a 2.85 ERA, the Aggie pitching staff has remained consistent after letting up an average of three runs in its last four.
