WILKES-BARRE — Luzerne County Council on Tuesday approved a 10-year tax abatement for a large commercial project that Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services plans to develop in the Hazleton area.
Scranton s, Wilkes-Barre s and Hazleton s police departments will share in $155,662 in federal money that will pay for law enforcement initiatives, U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright s office announced.
