Last night at around 7 00. They say william and his exgirlfriend were driving blocks away from Cleveland Court when they started arguing. William severely beat the woman before driving off with their 3yearold son zion, who was in the backseat. We determined that we needed to have an amber alert because it was also determined and discovered that mr. Williams had made previous threats to seriously injury or kill the child. Reporter jeff pierce with the Spotsylvania County Sheriffs Office says an hour later the vehicle was recovered. This morning 3yearold zion was dropped off at his grandmothers house by an unknown person. We were there when the child was met by his mother and deputies. We just had an opportunity to speak with deputies. They tell us theyre still trying to determine what dropped zion off at his grandmothers house and who the were that were with williams at the time he was arrested. She was beaten so badly that she later had to be taken to the hospital for treatment, and she was beaten in front of her 3yearold son. Now sheriffs deputies say that joshua williams, seen here in this video, was in a car with his exgirl friend last night. Their 3yearold son, Zion Clinton Amir Williams was in the back seat. There was an argument and deputies say williams began punching his girl friend. Fearing for her life, she jumped out when she did that, he drove off. Now zion is considered to be in extreme danger because williams has threatened to kill the little boy in the past.
