The trigger-happy Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ayuba Yandi, who shot dead a female lawyer, Mrs Omobolanle Raheem on Christmas day at Ajah Lagos, State, also cocked his gun to kill her sister-in-law, the bereaved husband, Gbenga, has narrated. Distressed Gbenga spoke on Monday when sympathisers visited his house in the Ajah area of Lagos State. SaharaReporters had reported that Omobolanle was shot dead while she was returning home with her husband from a Christmas service at Ajah Under-bridge.
Human rights organisation, Amnesty International Nigeria, has condemned the killing of Mrs Omobolanle Raheem, a lawyer who was shot and killed by a policeman attached to Ajiwe Police Station, Ajah, Lagos State. Raheem was shot on Christmas Day (Sunday). The shooting was said to have occurred around the Jubilee bridge at Ajah, Lagos state, when the deceased and her family were returning from Christmas service. The trigger-happy Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) was identified as Ayuba Yandi.
