Nigeria Police Release Aisha Jibrin, Others Who Led Minna Protest Over Hardship, Rising Inflation Under Tinubu Government

The Niger State government has reportedly released the 30-year-old Aisha Jibrin and some other persons arrested by state police command for leading a protest on Monday to lament hunger, hardship and rising inflation in Minna, the state capital. SaharaReporters on Wednesday reported that the police arrested the protesters who were among hundreds of men, women and youths who on Monday in Minna staged a protest against the hardship under President Bola Tinubu’s government.   The protesters had also lamented the hikes in the prices of gas and fuel in the country.

Movement For Justice (MFJ) Demands Immediate Extradition Of Naira Marley From UK Over Mohbad s Death

A coalition of revolutionary civil society organisations under the umbrella of Movement For Justice (MFJ) has demanded the immediate extradition and arrest of Nigerian musician Azeez Adeshina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, from the United Kingdom over the death of the fast-rising singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. The coalition made the demand in a statement jointly signed by its Co-Conveners, Ayo Ademiluyi and Ayoyinka Oni, Secretary, Fidel Davynovich and Publicity Secretary, Francis Nwapa.
