Researchers have found traces of animal residue - suggestive of cutting bone, muscle and tendons - on Bronze Age daggers excavated from Pragatto, northern Italy.
One of the oldest board games known in history was found in the Ayn Bani Sa'dah in the Qumayrah Valley from the Bronze Age settlement that had similarities to the Royal Game of Ur, with rules played like backgammon in present times.
Completed in December, the digs around Ayn Bani Sa dah in the Qumayrah Valley were led by the University of Warsaw and Oman s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism.
