FAYETTEVILLE While Ayden Owens-Delerme was starring the past two years for the University of Arkansas men s track and field team, he simultaneously was becoming an entrepreneur through his Master of Business Administration program.
Arkansas will be represented by 26 athletes spread among eight countries during the 2023 edition of the World Athletics Championships held at the new National Athletics Center in Budapest, Hungary, from August 19-27.
Through the first day of the decathlon contested at the Central American and Caribbean Games, Razorback Ayden Owens-Delerme leads the field of nine with a score of 4,436 points while teammate Yariel Soto Torrado is currently in fifth place with 4,033 points.
