Aya Asahina’s edit for The Drop is made of the type of classic pieces that we always need more of in our closet. There’s a boxy white popover that fits like the boyfriend button-down we’ve always dreamt of, a versatile black blazer that can toss over anything, and wide-leg cream trousers that we could see wearing to the office one day. And the one piece
we can’t wait to get our hands on (thanks, Amazon Prime!) is the floaty tiered dress that we’ll live in this spring and summer. With versions in white and blue, it’s the MVP-to-be style that we plan on wearing with sandals and sneakers, belted or not, or even thrown over a bathing suit whenever we need a coverup.

Will there be a second season of
Alice In Borderland?
Yes, itâs official. The live-action adaptation of
Alice In Borderland will return for a second season. Netflix announced the seriesâ renewal on Christmas Eve 2020 with a short video teaser. In the clip, a hand reaches out for a poker card with the number two written on it while ominous music plays in the background. In the videoâs caption, the streaming platform wrote: âSeason 2 in the works!â
The announcement was made just two weeks after the first season premiered on Netflix on December 10. The show quickly gained popularity in Japan and across Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. It also ranked in the Top 10 trending list in countries like Germany, France, Portugal and Austria.

Alice in Borderland back in 2014, we learned in August 2019 that a live-action adaptation was given the green-light by Netflix Japan. With a December 10th, 2020 debut set for it, it went live in 190 countries to a pretty wide audience. Things have gone well enough that Netflix Japan has given the nod for a second season already with a quick promo to highlight that announcement. With the staff and cast returning, dates will come later for the second season.
The series has set Shinsuke Sato to direct based on the scripts by Yasuko Kuramitus that Sato is also working on with.
