TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You Anime Getting OVA

© Kenjiro Hata, Shogakukan / Tonikaku Kawaii Production Committee The fall 2020 anime series Fly Me to the Moon, aka  Tonikaku Kawaii, aka Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You, isn’t over just because the TV series is wrapping up. It was announced today that a new OVA will be arriving sometime in 2021 and that Crunchyroll will be streaming it like they did the TV series. No firm dates or story material were revealed yet, though the promo below may tease just a little bit of an idea. The TV series is getting its home video releases in Japan handled by Happinet. They’ve opted for a box set schedule for this show which is set for a February 26th, 2021 debut. The twelve-episode set will be priced at 32,000 yen when it arrives and will be spread across two discs. It’s set to include the clean opening and closing as well as the promos. Some original manga material is expected as well as a tapestry by Hata.
