Happinet Schedules 'TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You' Anime OVA Release

© Kenjiro Hata, Shogakukan / Tonikaku Kawaii Production Committee The fall 2020 anime series Fly Me to the Moon, aka  Tonikaku Kawaii, aka Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You, is getting its home video releases in Japan handled by Happinet. For the TV series, they opted for a box set schedule for this show which was previously set for a February 26th, 2021 debut. Now, with the release of the packaging spread and cover artwork, the set has been pushed back to a March 22nd, 2021 debut. Now, the OVA is coming right along and it’s been formally solicited to retailers with an August 18th, 2021 release date. The release will be on Blu-ray only and priced at 4,800 yen which will include a booklet, promos, and commercials.

New 'TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You' OVA Promo Key Visual Arrives

It was announced back in December 2020 that a new OVA will be arriving in 2021 and that Crunchyroll will be streaming it like they did the TV series. With recently scheduled for an August 18th, 2021 release date for the OVA on Blu-ray, the folks at Crunchyroll are doing some new promotion for it now. This comes in the form of an adorable new key visual that shows us the pair together enjoying their time with each other, something that more shows really need to embrace.

The series  Fly Me to the Moon, aka  Tonikaku Kawaii, was announced in March 2020 for an anime adaptation that arrived with an October 2nd, 2020 debut as  Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You with Crunchyroll streaming it. The latest bit to drop comes from Crunchyroll as they’ve brought out a new clip from the twelfth episode where it’s time to close out the series and watch some real fireworks! When the show does arrive it’ll be available to audiences through their service in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

Happinet Reveals 'TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You' Anime Blu-ray Box Set Promo

© Kenjiro Hata, Shogakukan / Tonikaku Kawaii Production Committee The fall 2020 anime series Fly Me to the Moon, aka  Tonikaku Kawaii, aka Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You, is getting its home video releases in Japan handled by Happinet. They’ve opted for a box set schedule for this show which is now set for a February 26th, 2021 debut. That’s still a decent bit off but they’re getting some new promotion in for it now with a new commercial spot highlighting the set and what’s included. The twelve-episode set will be priced at 32,000 yen when it arrives and will be spread across two discs. It’s set to include the clean opening and closing as well as the promos. Some original manga material is expected as well as a tapestry by Hata.
