The Anambra State Police Command has said that its operatives smashed a deadly insurgency gang and arrested two suspected insurgents, recovered four AK-47 rifles, 219 rounds of ammunition and two vehicles.   The spokesman for the command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, who made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday in Awka, the state capital, said the police operatives, while on patrol with the local vigilantes in Awka-Etiti in the Idemili South Local Government Area of the state, accosted the gang, which was heavily armed.
