Dubai: A Chinese visitor, who has Hepatitis B and Syphilis, has been accused of raping a masseuse.
The Dubai Court of First Instance heard that the 34-year-old Chinese defendant allegedly raped his 22-year-old countrywoman inside a shared Dubai villa in the Al Barsha area of Dubai in September last year.
The woman claimed that the other tenants were having a party and drinking alcohol when the defendant asked her to help him clean his room and give him a massage. “He told me that his roommate was in the room, but I found nobody when I went inside. He locked the door and attacked me,” said the woman on record.

A man suffering from Hepatitis B and Syphilis diseases has been accused of raping a masseuse, Dubai Criminal Court has heard.
The Chinese visitor, 34, allegedly raped his 22-year-old countrywoman inside a shared Dubai villa in Al Barsha area on Sept.22 last year.
In her testimony, the woman claimed the defendant and other tenants were having a party and drinking alcohol when the accused asked her to help him clean his room and give him a massage.
“When inside his bedroom, he locked the door and attacked me,” she said.
During prosecution questioning, the accused denied selling drugs.
“I bought the drug through WhatsApp a day before the arrest but the next day the seller asked me to return it and I did,” the defendant told investigators.
“It was then that I got arrested. But I can’t remember the details because I was under the influence of alcohol,”
Citing discrepancies in testimonies, the defendant’s lawyer Awatif Mohammed Khouri insisted on witnesses being cross-examined.
Judges ordered witnesses be summoned before court and scheduled the next hearing on January 5.
