‘Dramas play crucial role in eliminating social curses’

RANGPUR, Jan 1, 2021 (BSS) – Theatre personalities at a discussion here have said staging of time-befitting dramas always play crucial role in eliminating curses, superstitions, militancy, terrorism and drug from the society.
They made the observation at a pre-rally discussion organised by drama institution ‘Rangpur Padatik’ to celebrate its 39th founding anniversary on its office premises at Town Hall square in the city on Thursday afternoon.
The celebrations began with hoisting of the national flag and organisation flag amid rendering of the national anthem in the inaugural function arranged abiding by the health directives in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
