Shares of the diversified group lifted more than 6% on Wednesday, after its reported double-digit profit growth so far in its 2022 year, as well as progress in its plans to spin off its car rental business, Avis.
In a trading update for the five months to end-February, Barloworld said both revenue from continuing operations and operating profit increased by double digits compared to the previous year.
