The benchmark index of Bursa Malaysia ended the morning session on a firm note, lifted up by positive market sentiment, following the stellar second-quarter gross domestic product (2Q GDP) figures.
Bursa Malaysia opened higher but retreated thereafter ahead of the release of Malaysia’s trade data for March later on Monday (April 18), keeping investors on the sidelines.
Bursa Malaysia opened slightly higher on Wednesday (Jan 5), as investors took the cue from uptrend seen in the overnight Wall Street and regional bourses, dealers said.
