A staple of the Edmonton music scene for over a decade, the band will make their second Summer Sessions appearance at Heritage Park next Wednesday, Jul. 7.

Formed in Bonnyville in 2009 when member’s Drew Shalka (lead vocals, bass), Travis Toplki (lead guitar, vocals), Alex Fedorouk (guitar, vocals), and Derek Chalut (drums, vocals) were still in high school, the band got its name from a local bar in the area locals referred to as “The FKB.” It wasn’t long before the name stuck and the group began attracting attention with eclectic shows paying tribute to their musical heroes such as The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and The Beach Boys. The band began performing anywhere they could and they would spend every night learning their favourite songs and perfecting their vocal harmonies.
