Two people are facing various charges after fleeing a police traffic stop Wednesday night.
Police conducted the stop in the 100 block of 33rd Street West around 10:30 p.m. after a canine officer saw a “suspicious” Jeep Compass near 35th Street West and Idylwyld Drive North in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood, the Saskatoon Police Service said in a media release.

The man driving gave police identification that belonged to another person and then fled the traffic stop in the jeep. Members of the police air support unit tracked the vehicle, which stopped on 35th Street West. Four people then got out and fled into a nearby alley.
