Police in Saskatoon say a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man have been charged with attempted murder after what investigators describe as a random machete attack left a woman in hospital with serious injuries.
Police were called to the 500 block of Avenue H South around 10 p.m. CST Tuesday after a woman showed up at a home there asking for help. The woman said she d been attacked with a machete in a back alley nearby.

A 15-year-old boy and 18-year old man have been charged with attempted murder after a woman was assaulted with a machete this week in what police believe was a random attack.
The 23-year-old woman suffered injuries that were described as serious, but not life-threatening in the Feb. 2 incident.

Saskatoon police received a call that day around 10 p.m. from someone in a home in the 500 block of Avenue H South in Saskatoon’s Riversdale neighbourhood, police said in a media release. The person said an injured woman had come to the home asking for help.
