Sultanpur Kheda is under lockdown due to the Covid situation.
Sultanpur Kheda, a small village in Rae Bareli, which has a population of 2000 people, is inhabited by 500 families. For the past few days, deaths had become common here. Every other house lamented the demise of their dear ones. India Today reached ground zero and found that the entire village is now under lockdown. At present, 26 people are positive in the village.
Twenty-six-year-old Indrajit Sahu Kumar lost his father Ramsajivan Sahu (50 years) to Covid-19. He said his father was having the symptoms and after a week his situation started to deteriorate. He took him to the government hospital. But his father did not get treatment on time and succumbed to the virus.
