D’Angelo Tines and his parents, Jenny and David Tines, are revamping a spot in downtown Rochester at 23 Second St. SW in the historic Odd Fellows Building to open a Popus Gourmet Popcorn shop.
Fiddlehead Coffee Co. plans to open its third Rochester location in the downtown Kahler Grand Hotel. Work has already started to transform the space left empty by the closing of Starbucks spot on the corner of West Center Street and Second Avenue.

Miracle Mile Shopping Center.
“We’re very excited. It’s very modern with a very clean design,” she said of the clinic, which has 10 procedure rooms compared to the five of the current location.

A missing window and rain garden are holding up final approval for renovation at Miracle Mile.
The $35 million-plus Avani Living apartment and retail project is in its final stages after being proposed in 2016.
“In March 2019, the Olmsted County Planning Department inspected the development for a Certificate of Occupancy to close out the building permit,” states a report to Rochester’s Planning and Zoning Commission. “During the inspection, it was determined that the development did not match the plans that were approved by (the Rochester) City Council.”
