Ninth grader Damien Dolan was the first-place winner, and tenth-grader Ava Martin was the third-place winner in the high school poster category.
Close to 100 people gathered at the Waterworks Metropolitan Museum on June 22 to honor this year’s contest winners. The theme for the 2020-21 school year contest was “Water Works Because We Do.” This year, students across the MWRA service area were challenged to use their creative skills to design a poster or write an essay, story or poem about the important work being done behind the scenes at the MWRA to make sure all have clean drinking water and proper wastewater treatment.
