STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. In celebration of Earth Day, members of the Monsignor Farrell High School’s Marine Biology Society began conducting water quality studies throughout Staten Island.
The Oakwood school launched its own on-campus water testing research laboratory as part of the new Marine Biology Society, which is moderated by science teachers Jennifer Frydberg and Dawn Lilenfeld-Saada.
