But one thing is often missing from this rich history: women. Even more so, lesbians. It s important to highlight our city s LGBTQ+ heritage and history - the people and places that have made Plymouth, and the world, what it is.
The award winning Plymouth LGBT Archive, hosted by Pride in Plymouth and the Plymouth and West Devon Record Office currently stands at forty-six interviews; and only six are with women.
