Toni Morrison's cultural legacy will be honored with a Forever stamp from the United States Postal Service. Princeton University, where the novelist taught for 17 years before her retirement in 2006, hosts a first-day-of-issue ceremony at the college on Tuesday.
The ceremony included the reading of a letter from the Obamas, a video tribute from Oprah Winfrey and a chance to celebrate the Princeton professor, author and Nobel laureate.
