Sometime in December, readers began to notice a “for lease” sign hanging near the space where Mission BBQ was proposed to go.
“Is it not going to open?” one reader inquired.
Then, as we all know, projects and openings were delayed across the nation because of the pandemic, including the Main Street Mishawaka development. While the “for lease” sign was for the vacant space next to Mission BBQ, it wasn’t a far-fetched notion for readers to wonder about the new restaurant’s future.
But its opening day is finally in sight.
