The 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V was the end of an era.
The extensive National Parts Depot automotive collection, with over 200 special-interest vehicles housed in Ocala, has multiple examples of the Mark series Lincolns, including a Designer Series Bill Blass model with accent touches in the upholstery and exterior trim.
The NPD car has about 139 yes, 139, not 139,000 – miles on the odometer and has 100 percent original paint and interior, according to collection records.
Jean Morillo, one of the conservators of the NPD collection, said the pristine Lincoln even has the original tires.
