RICHMOND, Va. Many families say resources for people who are differently-abled vanished during the pandemic, putting them in a tight spot. Now, one Richmond non-profit is hoping to make a positive change with a special event.

Common Eats is providing a way for people to stock up on locally made foods

RICHMOND, Va. There s a new, pandemic friendly business concept in Richmond called Common Eats.
Owner Tori Stowers says they source food from Richmond chefs and bakers and they sell the items using a drive-thru format.
Tuesday, Common Eats held their first pop-up event at Seventh Street Christian Church on Grove Avenue in Richmond.

Stowers says she wanted to provide a convenient way for people to stock up on some of their favorite locally made foods.
