KERN COUNTY, Calif. â As temperatures continue to drop, dogs whether outside or in a shelter can feel the effects.
So in an effort to raise awareness of the issue, while also helping those in need, 23ABC s Kylie Walker has spent the past two weeks delivering blankets throughout Kern County.
Kylie has been delivering blankets for the last three winters.
âRescue dogs have a story, They ve overcome something very challenging, they ve faced death and I think knowing that and just being part of saving that dog s life makes it a worthwhile experience,â said Zach Skow.
