During the COVID-19 pandemic, Australia has stood with Vietnam and supported the implementation of Vietnam's National Immunization Program, focusing on economic recovery. “It is amazing to see vaccine coverage growing so quickly in Vietnam and I am proud of Australia's contribution to these efforts,” she said, adding that Australia has committed to share 7.8 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine with Vietnam and to date, 5.2 million doses have been delivered.
