Nothing is pretty about the AH-64 Apache because it is designed for close air support (CAS) like the A-10 Warthog, and go in deeper and closer to crush enemy assets, engage delay tactics, and disrupt adversaries on the ground. The Futuristic Defiant X is competing for the U.S. Army s contract as the next high-tech helicopter. It will be fast and with new rotor technology never before seen on convention helicopters.
Next-generation helicopters or rotorcraft of the U.S. Army will be based on the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA). Winners of the contract will replace current helicopters in use with the U.S. Army.
The next-generation helicopter
Officials of Sikorsky and Boeing have revealed their next-generation helicopter with a coaxial rotor. It has similarities to the SB1 Defiant, but the manufacturer has added more upgrades that will serve the troops when flying into combat, reported the Military.

The presidential Marine One helicopter, which has served for many years, will be replaced soon. Addition of new equipment geared for presidential use will add to its mission.
Older presidential helicopters were based on the Sikorsky VH-3D Sea King that has served for a long time. President Donald Trump will be one the last to ride these presidential helos.
In 2021, helicopters served the president like the VH-34 and VH-60N as primary short-ranged transport that will be phased out for newer models by the end of 2020. Until 2023, the fleet of 11 VH-3Ds and 8 VH-60Ns will be replaced by 23 Sikorsky VH-92, reported the Drive.
