Australasian Institute for Marine Surveyors joins Shipping Australia!
Shipping Australia is delighted to welcome the Australasian Institute for Marine Surveyors as our newest corporate associate member!
The Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors (AIMS) was established in 1986. Its core objectives are:
• To research, improve and promote the specialised discipline of Marine Surveying through the delivery of processes and resources to support those involved in the industry;
• To work with government at all levels to ensure that the interests and livelihoods of those persons working within the Marine Survey industry are protected;
• To provide consumers with sufficient information and ensure that the marine survey industry itself is represented in regard to the public decision-making process;
