Austin residents have plenty of complaints about new transplants and rising rents, but one Austinite may have just sparked a new hatred for the city’s housing market.
While searching rental homes in Austin, Reddit user u/KlutzyInflation came across an ahem interesting listing.
“Beautifully refurbished Craftsman home in near East Austin. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an office, two [living] rooms, and kitchen and dining space,” the listing begins.

In “The Austin Cookbook,” author Paula Forbes writes that the breakfast taco, being one of the city’s highest art forms, is both deceptively simple and tricky to master. “Every element must be on point,” she writes: Tortillas must be fresh; salsa, scalding; and the other components, layered thoughtfully.
