Do you know how many towns are incorpoarted in the State of Iowa? 939. The only reason I know that is because two University of Nebraska students are traveling to all of them this year! They ve already conquered every town in Nebraska, they have decided to move along to Iowa now. Seth Varner and Austin Schneider are on a mission to accomplish this task this Summer! They have an entire Facebook page set up to teach us all about what they learn!

Seth Varner and Austin Schneider, sophomores at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, hope to visit all 939 incorporated towns in Iowa.
The pair accomplished the same goal last year in Nebraska. During that effort, which took them to 531 towns, they amassed thousands of followers on social media and ended up creating a book with photos and information about their travels.

With encouragement from friends and family, Varner and Schneider decided to head east this year and take on Iowa and its 939 towns. After debating our options on a road trip to Oklahoma City, Austin and I decided that it would be fun to explore our neighbor across the Mighty Mo , Varner wrote in a Facebook post.
College students plan to visit every Iowa town
DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) A lot of Iowans are planning their summer vacations right now, but no one has plans like Austin Schneider and Seth Varner.
The pair of college students are coming to your town this summer in their quest to visit every single incorporated town in Iowa.
Eric Hanson spoke with Schneider and Varner about their plans for the ultimate Iowa road trip in the latest edition of “This is Iowa.”
