GAINESVILLE, Fla. It was an impressive weekend for Clemson's track and field program at the Florida Relays. Several Tigers set personal bests and a few brought home gold in their events. The meet was Clemson's third competition of the season and the tea certainly beginning to round into form at this stage of the spring. HIGHLIGHTS Rojé Stona won the discus throw with an impressive 60.63 meter mark. The victory was his second in as many weekends, as he took home the crown at Austin Relays as well. Daniel Cope continues to rewrite Clemson's record book, as he moved into 5th all-time in the hammer throw (59.49m) and 6th in the discus (53.83m). Michael Smith moved into the Clemson top-10 list with an excellent 9:01.80 in the 3000m steeplechase. He finished 4th out of 14 in the event.
