Nashport man killed in overnight ATV accident
A 27-year-old Nashport man was found dead early Wednesday morning in Muskingum Township.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Austin Eveland was killed when he crashed the ATV he was driving on Prior Road near Fawn Drive.
He was found by a person heading to work just before 4 a.m., but investigators think the rollover crash happened sometime after midnight and when his body was discovered.
Troopers believe Eveland went off the right side of the roadway while driving west and struck a ditch and traffic sign before overturning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Muskingum County Coroner.
