Weston Hills road sinking following road
A road was reported to be sinking following the recent heavy rains.
South Holland district councillor Anthony Casson told Weston Parish Council that it had been a busy Christmas due to issues around the village as a result of flooding.
He also told the virtual meeting on Monday that there was an issue with Austendyke Road on Sunday.
Roadworks have closed part of the motorway (43878044)
Coun Casson said: âThe road is cracking. I have got plenty of emergency numbers to get the drainage board out. They came out and put bollards down there.
âIt was just sinking and was dangerous. It is really more of a Highways issue than a drainage board. Trying to get hold of anyone from Highways is more or less impossible.â
