For the Springfield Writersâ Guild December newsletter, members were asked to submit a Haiku poem, or an acrostic about Christmas, or a short paragraph about our favorite Christmas memory or tradition. Here is what I submitted, âFor 43 years, Terry and I have hosted the Thomas Christmas dinner, with as many as 40 family members attending. My little momma and Aunt Dazel were present during the early gatherings, and Iâm so thankful several of those years were captured on video. About five years ago, I had the old VHS tapes transferred to CDs. What fun to watch my relatives laughing and having a good time.Â
