East Dunbartonshire Council reveals opening date for museums and galleries

East Dunbartonshire museums and galleries to reopen MUSEUMS and art galleries are set to reopen as coronavirus restrictions continue to ease. Venues such as Milngavie’s Lillie Art Gallery will open again to visitors on Tuesday, May 18 and The Auld Kirk Museum will open again to visitors on Tuesday June 8, revealed East Dunbartonshire Council. The Auld Kirk Museum, Kirkintilloch Visitors are asked to follow the coronavirus guidelines for visiting the venues including wearing a mask, using hand sanitiser and booking in advance. Social distancing measures will also be in place. Staff will be cleaning touchpoints regularly. You can book a place by calling 0141 777 3013 for the Auld Kirk and 0141 956 5536 for the Lillie. Culture vultures can also sign up online at www.eventbrite.co.uk.
